WHEN HOURS FEEL LIKE MINUTES.

Which activities make you lose track of time?

    Time flies when………..

Quite honestly, any activity I engage in will keep me so involved that I have occasionally literally spent all day occupied without noticing time passing. I will stop using the bathroom or drink some water, but I don’t feel hunger, just eagerness to get back to what I am doing.

This may be due to the fact that I won’t do anything that doesn’t bring me enjoyment. And I have to be in the mood for that particular interest.

Blogging

I do write something, and it also goes as it is part of research, basically reading and writing. When an idea possesses my mind, my pen and I make an unstoppable team.

While learning
When I’m trying to learn something new, my mind gets totally caught up in absorbing new information, and I tend to forget to take breaks.

When eating a leisurely meal
I will always be a foodie at heart. When eating good food, I lose track of time relishing it, taking the time to taste every single flavour.
(I once spent an entire day reading and finishing Gone with The Wind), and writing stories on my blog.

Any number of things. Watching movies comes to mind first. Lots of time can pass without being aware of it. Listening to music as l do house chores, going through my social media platforms,  a long call from my mum and sisters, daily gym session every evening. There are some computer games where I can put my head down, play for a while, then look up to find 3 hours have gone by. Reading a really good book can do that, too. Many times, I sit down to relax while on tv, look up, and suddenly it’s in the middle of the night.
