What is it like to live alone?
I still remember the day I shifted to a small room , far from home. The first day was just boring unpacking and fake smiles to the landlord, I was sad at first— new place, new pressure. The fear of trying to survive alone was very real. No one reminded me to eat on time, and no one would ask if I reached out safely. But well, first things in life are special because they stay in your heart and mind forever.
The first few weeks were tough. I got upset even over small things. I used to feel pathetic sometimes, crying quietly at night. But slowly, I got used to it. That one cup of tea after a long day those silent meals with my own playlist these —small things started cheering me up, “My mood became better when I realised I was slowly learning to handle life on my own.
I know I don’t look like the independent girl type, but living alone changed me. I tried to smile even on the worst days. I became that kind of human thanks to God, even in the pettiest situations. I missed home a lot, but I also learnt to survive to grow. You can survive a bad place with good vibes inside you but not a good place with a bad mindset.
So yeah, living alone is not easy, but it teaches you things notebook can. You become your own person You feel in every emotion deeply but that’s how you find strength If you’re planning to live alone just one advice don’t pray for a good place instead pray for good people. Because in the end it’s the people who help you survive the bad days.
